Volunteers
ElderHouse offers individuals many diverse opportunities to volunteer.  Whether it be helping a senior build a birdhouse or providing leadership for a major fundraising effort, we promise you a rewarding volunteer experience.
Program Volunteers
Many program volunteers work directly with the seniors by participating in their scheduled activities including playing cards, knitting, exercise programs.

Other volunteers come to ElderHouse to entertain us and enrich our days.  Musicians, singers, dancers, school children, pets, artists, chefs, craft makers and community groups come to perform and share their talents.
Fundraising Volunteers
The ElderHouse Benefit Committee hosts two fundraising events each year.  We welcome volunteers to help design, plan and assist us in reaching our fundraising goals.

Board Leadership
ElderHouse’s volunteer board of directors is a policy making body composed of 20 individuals who live or work in our service area.  Each member brings experience, talent or energy to help guide ElderHouse to a bright and prosperous future.

 ElderHouse is a not-for-profit agency.
Partial funding is provided by the United Way and the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging.
